Our Commitment

ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi is the kani of our ‘āina, the leo of our kūpuna and the pana of our lāhui. Kui Leo exists to normalize ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i in everyday life — in homes, schools, businesses, and communities found throughout our pae ‘āina and around the honua (world) — so that our language is not just celebrated, but is spoken and heard daily and that it is living, thriving and growing!

  • To protect the purity of this vision so that it remains grounded in ‘ōlelo, leo and aloha.

  • To engage partners and businesses with transparency and clarity, always returning to the original intent: to hear ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i spoken more freely and frequently.

  • To collect and record stories, build data, and ʻike that reflect the growth of this movement — not as a measure of ownership, but as evidence of our collective strength and growth.
